Today students at St. Padre Pio participated in the Terry Fox walk with excitement and joy! It is a walk of hope, inspiring students to never stop believing in themselves and others.  From his example, we see the importance of being courageous and brave.

The health and safety of the public, our customers and our team members are a priority.  As a precaution during the current COVID-19 situation, we are limiting entry to our retail stores to NEW STUDENTS ONLY and those requiring special assistance through our Appointment Booking system.

Black History Month

HOZA! Leaders in Learning were welcomed by the staff and students from St. Padre Pio CES. Students enjoyed a great morning listening to stories, experiences, and accomplishments of people of African origin.  The HOZA group was highly entertaining through live music, dance, and multimedia student participation.

Update re: Possible Strike on Monday, Nov. 21

Earlier today CUPE served notice that they could resume their job action as soon as Monday, November 21, 2022.

COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures

The York Catholic District School Board worked closely with its partners at the Ministry of Education, York Region Public Health, and with Board staff to prepare for the return to school in September. By aligning our practices with their guidance, we are confident our schools will continue to be safe, inclusive places to learn and work throughout the 2022-2023 school year.
